Rob Harper

Rob loves the physio profession! Completing his Bachelor of Science, Physiotherapy, in 2007 he then completed his Masters in Sports Physiotherapy and Exercise in 2017. Rob believes exercise is free medicine and has been active for a lifetime. He is a Life Member of City of Perth Surf Life Saving Club where he was heavily involved in surf boat rowing, swimming and distance running. He is also a Life Member of Cottesloe Rugby Club where he played over 400 games across the grades. He also represented Western Australia regularly during the seventies and was awarded the WA Rugby Fairest and Best in 1982. Marathon running was another passion, and he was a member of WAMC for many years with a best time of 2 hours 52 minutes. Rob was inaugural; Head Trainer for the Fremantle Dockers AFL club, a position he held for several years before deciding to study physiotherapy in 2000. Rob is a regular at City Beach where he exercises with friends most mornings all year round. He is now a regular at the Perry Lakes Saturday morning Park Run. Travel is a favourite also. Destinations have included many long walks including Everest Base Camp, The Camino, Amalfi Coast, Cinque Terre, Andes to Machu Pichu, Coast to Coast in England, and places such as Easter Island, Patagonia, Galapagos Islands, Amazon Basin, Iguazu falls and Antarctica. Rugby World Cups have also been a favourite: Sydney, France (2) London, Japan and New Zealand.
