Sean Sargent
Sean is as passionate about Physiotherapy as he is about the mighty Hawthorn football club. Sean has a special interest in spinal manipulations, acupuncture and aged care. His other loves are playing veterans football which he has represented his state on multiple occassions and the horses. He enjoys spending time at Preston Beach and on his farm in Harvey where he can relax with his horses, his wife and two daughters.
Kim O’Leary
Kim completed his Physio degree at Curtin University as a member of the Golden Key Honour Society. He has played over 200 games of amateur football and has a passion for amateur and junior sports management and prevention. He enjoyed being the state under 17’s and 19’s netball state Physiotherapist that travelled to Darwin and Sydney in 2005 and 2006. Kim’s philosophy for ideal patient results is by using good communication and education coupled with a strong focus on hands on treatment will give the best results. Kim consults for Como, Floreat and Wembley PhysioPro. Outside of work Kim enjoys keeping fit by running and spending time with his friends, family, wife and three kids.
Chris Osborn
Chris has been consulting at Floreat and Como PhysioPro since 2010. He completed his physiotherapy degree at the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle and continues to keep up to date with the latest concepts to ensure his patients receive the best care.
Chris enjoys living an active lifestyle and currently plays amateur football in the winter months. Along with footy, he also follows the cricket closely and his general love of all things sport can be seen in his enthusiasm for sports injury prevention and rehabilitation. Chris’ physiotherapy career has seen him work and travel with state junior football teams and he regularly works with the local AFL Masters teams.
Aside from sport, Chris has a special interest in providing care for the older generations, with a focus on keeping people active, preventing falls and maintaining quality of life and independence.
Away from work, Chris enjoys a good coffee, spending quality time with family and friends and travelling throughout Australia and abroad.
Glenn Ruscoe
Glenn is a highly experienced physiotherapist with special interests in back pain, neck pain, jaw pain, headaches and vertigo. Graduating in 1989 from Curtin University, he became a Fellow of the Australian College of Physiotherapy in 2008.
As a senior clinician in the profession Glenn has mentored and taught acupuncture/dry needling and other musculoskeletal skills to undergraduate students, post graduate students, medical practitioners and other health professionals.
A strong advocate for the physiotherapy profession Glenn has been a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association his entire career and held leadership positions in local, national and international physiotherapy associations and regulating authorities. Currently he is Chairman of the International Physiotherapy History Association and Managing Director of the .physio top level domain registry.
Olivia Purnell
Olivia completed her physiotherapy degree at the University of Notre Dame and has been the head physiotherapist for the Wembley Amateur Football Club for 4 years.
Olivia has a special interest in aged care, sports physiotherapy, pilates method with reformer based rehabilitation and believes in empowering patients to be confident with their movements after injury.
Olivia has a strong belief in hands on, manual therapy and following through with rehabilitation post injury and for prevention with a keen interest in Pilates and using exercise as medicine. Olivia also has a keen interest in the field of falls & balance as well as home visits.
Outside of work, Olivia enjoys to travel.
Alex Chin
Alex is patient turned physiotherapist at PhysioPro with particular interest in diagnosing and managing sports injuries. He is a keen swimmer who has competed at a high level before and has experienced the benefits of physiotherapy first hand. He understands the value of manual therapy and is particularly interested in the role exercise can have on improving pain and general function. He has experience working as a Sports Trainer at the West Coast Eagles AFL, AFLW and WAFL teams and currently plays for Wembley Amateur Football Club.
Alex’s other passion is treating older populations and wants to provide everyone with the opportunity to achieve movement goals and have the best quality of life.
When not working you’ll find Alex somewhere by the coast swimming, running or enjoying a coffee with friends or family.
